For 6 days, from the 9th to the 14th of August 2022, the participants took walked and reflected to PEACE.
The meeting aimed to reflect on Peace, on intercultural dialogue, human rights, and on our future by being involved in the “Carta di Leuca” movement. The meeting was a good opportunity to start designing the FUTHURE Guidelines and to share with the community the results of the local debates.

The right ways of peace
We commit ourselves and not the others, we young people from countries kissed by the Mediterranean Sea who have chosen to set out again, at the school of Beauty, on the straight paths of peace.
We are committed to speaking words that are not the end but the beginning of a dialogue that builds bridges and breaks down walls. Words that are weighed, thought out, deep, and true, like seeds planted in the furrow that flourish in concrete, collective, and community actions. We are committed to healing the planet's wounds starting from the bottom up, from our lifestyles, and creating a caring and supportive society.
We are committed to thinking thoughts that make work a tool that gives equal opportunities to men and women, respecting their natural diversity and bringing out the noble and equal dignity between them.
We are committed to designing projects that start from life and lead to the life of many men and women who want to make inclusion a lifestyle and the earth a kind home through choices of attention and concern so that a dignified life is not the privilege of a few but everyone's right.
We are committed to proposing peace proposals. War inevitably brings with it evils that often have a greater destructive scope than the war itself. Let's create positive bonds, let's encourage care for others, let's promote a culture of encounter and solidarity to destroy the indifference and selfishness that damage us, thus building the civilization of love.
