Dignity and Freedoms (no more crimes againts humanity)

“Justice is an indispensable ingredient in the process of national reconciliation. It is essential to the restoration of peaceful and normal relations between people who have had to live under a reign of terror. It breaks the cycle of violence, hatred and extra-judicial retribution. Thus, peace and justice go hand in hand.”

- Antonio Cassese

This visit was very important because it represents the steps that were done for truth and justice. It presents the work done by ICTY and its contribution to international justice, establishing facts about crimes, providing evidence, and bringing to justice the responsible for grave violations of international humanitarian law committed in the former Yugoslavia since 1991. Thus, contributing to the restoration and PEACE establishment.

To maintain peace, we all have to protect human rights and freedoms.
