This event aimed to collect good practices within the topic of “Inclusion Opportunities via Digital Communication” and analyze the local realities. The participants discussed on the internet equal access and its relevance as a tool to the future of European Union. The meeting was organized by AJITER and hosted in Angra do Heroísmo.
In addition to sharing best practices on the central theme, the two-day program included several study visits focused on good examples in terms of communication at the #Museum_of_Angra_do_Heroísmo, #Jornal_Diário_Insular, #Rádio_Voz_dos_Açores, #Queijo_Vaquinha as well as a reception by the Mayor of Angra do Heroísmo at the #City_Hall. The final session of the conference was completed with the interventions of Margarida Sodré (Europe Direct Centre), Daniela Guilherme (Public Relations and Social Networks), and Rui Caria (Journalist), at Escola Secundária Jerónimo Emiliano de Andrade.
Also the participants had the opportunity to get in touch directly with the cultural heritage of the city of Angra as well as with the typical Portuguese cuisine and that of Terceira Island in particular.
